Results of Russian Defense Ministry’s scientific activities to be showed at Innovation Day
The results of the research activities of the Russian Defense Ministry in 2015 will be presented at the Innovation Day to be held on Monday and Tuesday at the ministry’s exhibition center in Kubinka (near Moscow) and also in Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok, the ministry’s press service reported.
The Defense Ministry leaders attach special significations to the Innovation Day. "Under the current foreign policy conditions the Russian military-industrial complex needs to achieve maximum independence from imported technologies, component kits and technical resources. This is a task of national importance, and we will not be able to resolve it without gifted scientists, engineers and test persons. Innovation Days make it possible for them to tap their potential," says a statement of Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
