Cyber's role in the future of war

Military strategies have undergone updates in recent years: Many of the militaries around the world either have or are in the process of establishing cyber components.
For the most part, militaries start off with cyber defenses and then add offensive capabilities. With between 10 and 20 new strains of malicious software being released every second, militaries quickly implemented defenses for military-related critical infrastructure and their offensive cyber weaponry. At that point militaries try and to get ahead of the cyber threats they face by adding cyber-intelligence capabilities.
