Chemical weapons workshop discovered in Aleppo

On Saturday, a military source belonging to the Syrian Army said troops discovered a workshop in Aleppo purportedly used to create chemical weapons.

During their sweep of the eastern districts of the city, military personnel located large amounts of chemical weapons believed to be manufactured by the Jeish al-Fatah militant group.

According to the military source, the weapons were used to target civilian as well as army positions.

More specifically, the source said the militants used the poisonous weapons against Syrian troops in southwestern Aleppo.

“After carrying out laboratory tests on the samples, it became clear the materials used in the bombs were made from the US,” the military source revealed.
