China cracks down on terrorism and homosexuality related online content

In a widespread crack down on online content, China has ordered all internet service providers in the country to remove content related to related to terrorism, superstition and homosexuality.
The China Netcasting Services Association (CNSA) announced new regulations claiming that any display of "abnormal sexual behaviours,” including homosexuality will be removed from cyberspace.
The fresh ban by China includes both homosexuality-related audio and visual content on the internet.
CNSA has reportedly instructed the streaming platforms to remove a range of programmes from the internet.
The move, aimed at pre-censorship of all content before it is broadcast, includes regulations that require Internet service providers (ISPs) to adopt a "check first" policy with the enforcement authorities.
