Cybersecurity professional says Facebook data breach was no surprise

After Facebook's data breach last week, many people who use it in our area say although what happened is concerning, they don't plan on deleting their Facebook page anytime soon.

"How impactful will this be to Facebook in terms of what happened? It's going to impact them quickly, but they will quickly recover and in another day or another week goes by - people are going to forget about it," explained CEO of GBSI Randy Ramos.

There are many reasons why people in our area worry about social media, but one reason why - over the last week there's been a fear that their personal information is being shared.

"People need to stay out of other people's business," said Facebook user Tommy Edington.

"When you think about the breach, it makes you question," Facebook user Linda McAtee explained.
