Intelligence and security services MI5 and MI6 are looking for recruits
MI5, based on the banks of the River Thames in London, concentrates on protecting national security, while MI6 - or Secret Intelligence Service - delves more in to James Bond territory and was once so secret it was never referred to officially.
Even its very existence was denied (or at least, for a while, never officially acknowledged).
From intelligence roles to admin positions - with even gardeners and carpet layers thrown in for good measure - interested candidates must be British nationals and are instructed to only discuss their application with their partner or a close family member, as long as they are British.
Even then though they too should be made aware of the need for discretion..
Britain's SAS and SBS advertise for new recruits for the first time to join communications team supporting special forces in field

UK Special Forces have been forced to advertise for the first time ever in an attempt to attract recruits for a new communications unit to support covert operations.
The Special Air Service (SAS) and Special Boat Service (SBS) are reported to be in need of more operatives as they face increased challenges at home and across the globe.
Placed in the Army's Soldier magazine, the full-page advert states that male and female applicants will be 'selected for their technical acumen, tactical abilities and physical robustness'.
