CIA director Mike Pompeo assures there is nothing 'imminent' in standoff between the US and North Korea
CIA director Mike Pompeo assured there was 'nothing imminent' in the US standoff with nuclear-armed North Korea on Sunday.
However, he said he wouldn't be surprised if Pyongyang conducted another missile test.
Pompeo's remarks cap a week in which US President Donald Trump vowed that North Korea would be met with 'fire and fury' if leader Kim Jung-Un followed through on a threat to execute a missile strike on nearby Guam, a US territory with an American military base.
The agency's director told Fox News Sunday there was no need for people to worry yet.
