Islamist terror gang jailed over bid to radicalise children at garden parties
Five members of an Islamist terror cell who called for a bomb attack on shoppers in Oxford Street have been jailed.Ziaur Rahman arranged meetings in a marquee in his back garden to host the Luton branch of the banned terror group Al-Muhajiroun, led by jailed hate preacher Anjem Choudary .
The events attracted up to 100 people, including children, and featured speeches calling for gay people to be thrown from buildings.
One of the meetings was held on the anniversary of the 7/7 bombings .
In another Mohammed Choudry, 23, spoke of “40 trucks driving down Oxford Street full of explosives”.
