You may be wondering when was Global Cyber War I. Well the GCW-1
occurred back in 2013 when Anonymous declared a cyber war (as a protest against
the NSA surveillance aka spying) activities and the imprisonment of Jeremy
Hammond, a cyber activist. You can listen/view the full message at the

I inquired about the impact of GCW-1 and one inside source said it was
hardly noticeable given all the other hostile cyber activities and crimes that
were taking place during that same period.
