The Pentagon
says there is no evidence that hackers belonging to the so-called Cyber
Caliphate breached Department of Defense networks after hacking Newsweek’s
Twitter account this week and posting federal employee
information, including staff cell phone numbers from the Defense Cyber
Investigations Training Academy.

what happened,” Defense spokesman Col. Steve Warren told reporters at the
Pentagon Wednesday. “What I can tell you with confidence is that so far we have
not seen any evidence that any DoD networks were compromised.
