Intel gathering

US to 'set up unit specifically to spy on North Korea' amid rising tensions between the two countries


The United States Forces Korea (USFK) will set up a unit in October specifically to gather human intelligence in North Korea, the Korean publication Chosun Ilbo reported on Monday. The US government is also reportedly making preparations to form a special intelligence group dedicated to North Korean intelligence.
The Central Intelligence Agency has supposedly already selected individuals from the Director of National Intelligence and National Security Council for the separate department to handle the data collected from the new USFK unit.
