Yekaterinburg’s Leninsky District Court has arrested Chelyabinsk Region
Vice-Governor Nikolay Sandakov for two months, the court told TASS on Friday.
"On request from investigators, the court decided to arrest Sandakov
for two months," it said. The vice-governor was charged with bribery. He
faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine.Russia’s Deputy Prosecutor in the
Urals federal district Yury Ponomarev took the investigation under personal
control.
