Security expert says predictive profiling can help venues following Manchester attack

Security expert says predictive profiling can help venues following Manchester attack
Amid continuing reports of the devastation left behind by an apparent suicide bomber in Manchester, a Vancouver-based security expert and former RCMP officer says security services in Canada can do more to make venues safer.
Leo Knight says predictive, or behavioural profiling is in place at high-risk areas including Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, where security watch for people exhibiting unusual behaviour.
“Their predictive profiling units start literally on the road to the airport, they’re looking for the anomalies in what they consider to be abnormal behaviour. They watch people as they walk from the cars.”
