Nuclear security/USA
Yet U.S. spending on nuclear weapons is set to double over the next 10
years — and not because such warheads are expected to play a bigger role in
military strategy. If anything, there is a growing consensus among national security leaders, including a

weapons is too big, a relic of the Cold War. They argue that today’s nuclear
arsenal could be further scaled back and still provide a strong nuclear
deterrent.
