Spy chiefs warn it's not safe for MPs to move out of the Commons during £7bn make-over

Spy chiefs have blocked a plan to move MPs out of London while the House of Commons gets a £7 billion facelift.

Parliamentary authorities considered moving the 650 MPs and their staff away from the capital to cities including Manchester and Birmingham while the huge restoration project was carried out.
