World of warfare: the biggest arms fair in the Middle East – in pictures

50,000 arms dealers, army officers and government officials from all over the globe descend on Abu Dhabi every other year for Idex (the International Defence Exhibition and Conference) – the largest in the Middle East. Some represent dictators; others are mortal enemies. But here they meet, mingle and shop for the latest missiles, assault rifles, fighter jets and tanks.
