In the past year, American and
British intelligence agencies have made headlines for some of the world’s most
high-stakes and far-reaching security missteps and ethical violations: from the
NSA’s surveillance scandal to the CIA torture report to MI5’s botched handling of “Jihadi John”. You
would have to be living under a rock to have missed these stories, and even if
you were, these agencies could no doubt track you down – and monitor your
texts! LOL!
