The Dead Drop

The Dead Drop hears that the CIA is going to make history next month when it declassifies and releases several thousand Presidential Daily Briefings from the JFK and LBJ administrations.  The documents will be made public at an event at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, TX.

The PDB has always been considered one of the most sensitive documents produced by the U.S. government. In the 50+ years of its existence only a handful have ever been made public. (Most notably the August 6, 2001 edition which told President Bush “Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US.”)
