WHY is America trying to win a war of ideas with bullets and bombs?

I am sitting here in my house in Wash DC cleaning up the koi pond of algae. I was in Afghanistan a few years ago and before that Iraq and before that Bosnia and before that Africa. It goes on and on and we just can't get it right. I think the LEADERSHIP in this nation is stagnate. I think many of us regular working class Americans are frustrated and tired of the same old thing out of our government. So I sat down and started typing today.
