Britain on high alert: MI5 braced for attacks in London as PM warns to expect British casualities

Mark Rowley, the assistant commissioner for specialist operations in London, said the UK’s official terror threat level was at ‘highly likely’ – the second highest it can be.

He also called for ‘vigilance’ from the public – and urged the UK’s communities to provide police with any information about suspicious behaviour.

His warning came as David Cameron said to ‘prepare for British casualties’ and vowed ‘your fight is our fight’ to the French people as he chaired a Cobra meeting today.
