San Bernardino Shooting Reopens Gun Control Debate
Unsurprisingly, the incident has inspired widespread discussion regarding gun violence and gun laws in the U.S. President Barrack Obama has condemned Wednesday’s tragedy and called for more stringent rules regarding the issuance of firearms so that such incidents may be averted in the future. President Obama has voiced a popular concern that these shootings- in their nature and frequency- are almost unique to the United States. Commenting on the same, President Obama remarked, “We should never think that this is just something that just happens in the ordinary course of events because it doesn’t happen with the same frequency in other countries.”
