CES 2016: Are humans ready for the technology of tomorrow?

The EHang 184 autonomous aerial vehicle is unveiled at the EHang booth at CES International in Las VegasOn May 1, 1851, Hyde Park in London hosted the first ever Crystal Palace exhibition – a giant shimmering plate-glass structure, designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, housing more than 14,000 exhibitors from around the world in its 990,000 square feet of exhibition space.
The goal was to showcase all the cutting-edge industrial technology of the day, from steam engines to telegraphs, electricity, microscopes and musical instruments.The world’s greatest scientists and inventors from Charles Darwin to Samuel Colt attended, inspired by this dazzling display of man-made innovation. At least six million people, about a third of the UK’s population, passed through its doors, each hoping to catch a glimpse of the future.
