Princess Cristina of Spain is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, accused of tax fraud as part of a corruption case centered on money embezzled from public contracts that is bringing a member of the country’s royal family to trial for the first time.Cristina, the 50-year-old sister of King Felipe VI, was ordered to stand trial in October after an investigation into whether her husband, Iñaki Urdangarin, and his business associates siphoned off about 6 million euros, or $6.5 million, disbursed by the regional authorities for organizing sports events.
