War on terror

Et Tu, Turkey?

Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaks next to President Obama.When President Obama meets with Turkey's Islamist president Tuesday to ask why he downed a Russian jet flying an anti-terror mission, he shouldn't stop there. His trust is in question on other fronts, too.
Obama must also ask his so-called "strong partner," Recep Tayyip Erdogan, about credible reports that his government is actually collaborating with the Islamic State in neighboring Syria.
Turkey is a member of NATO and is supposed to be our ally in the fight against the ISIS. But according to a bombshell new research paper, the Muslim nation is:
• Sending the terrorist group military equipment;
• Training ISIS fighters;
• Treating injured jihadists at Turkish hospitals;
• Purchasing ISIS oil;
• Sending Turkish soldiers to fight alongside ISIS.
