Russia to Show Wide Range of Counter-Terrorism Tech at Interpolitex Exhibition

The 20th International Homeland Security Exhibition Interpolitex 2016 started in Moscow earlier in the day, and is due to last through Friday.

"Increased activity of terrorist groups, the globalization of criminal groups, as well as the use of certain methods of hybrid war by some states… have led to an increase of interest in the modern equipment and weaponry, aimed to ensure national security. Rosoboronexport is ready to offer foreign customers the whole range of means to counter such phenomena on the scale of the whole country," head of the Russian delegation at the exhibition Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov said, as quoted by Rosoboronexport. The exhibition provides for a large-scale demonstration program, during which potential customers will become familiar with the performance characteristics and combat capabilities of armament, special equipment and tools developed in the interests of law enforcement authorities in terms of their practical application.
