'Brexit, Trump Presidency... more to come' Merkel's worldview is OVER, Farage vows
In two weeks time, Austrians will be heading to the ballot boxes again to elect their next president after their last run-off was overturned because rules on the counting of postal votes were broken.
The anti-EU Freedom Party’s candidate Norbert Hofer was narrowly beaten by his rival Alexander Van der Bellen in the May election.
However, latest polls show the right-wing candidate is now ahead of former Green Party candidate Mr Bellen, who is now running as an independent.
Beaming how Austria could be the next country to take a brick out of the "Merkel-Obama wall", Mr Farage told Fox Business: “The poor darlings are in denial.”
“They simply can’t face up to the fact that their worldview has taken an absolute beating in the year of 2016.”
Referring to how his life mission to get Britain out of the bloc had started a trend, the Eurosceptic vowed there was more to come.
Mr Farage said: “It began with Brexit, the first brick out of the wall and now we have a Trump presidency in the USA.
