Britain to FREEZE until May: UK set for COLDEST spring in YEARS as weather warnings issued
Spring will become the “new winter” thanks to plunging solar activity keeping temperatures well below average for weeks to come.
Britain is facing a repeat of the 2013 late chill which saw winter weather stretch into April pushing temperatures to -11C (12.2F) in parts.
It comes as parts of Britain wrap up for further wintry showers this week as temperatures hover below average for the time of year.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for snow in western England today with up to two inches possible over high ground.
