Police Still Looking For Suspects Accused Of Throwing Chemical Substance At An L.A. County Social Worker
SANTA FE SPRINGS (CNS) - An employee suffered burned arms Wednesday when someone threw a caustic chemical at her at the Department of Children and Family Services office in Santa Fe Springs."Tragedy'' and ''horrific'' were the words co-workers used to describe the attack on an L.A. County social worker as she returned to a field office in Santa Fe Springs.
The woman was walking from her car to the building when a couple sitting in another car called out to her, asking if she was with the DCFS ( Department of Children and Family Services. ) When she said yes, the woman apparently threw a cup of acid at her through the passenger side window. They drove off, while the woman ran inside to wash her arm, but it was obviously too late.
