Scientists are being challenged to invent a futuristic X-ray device that will allow spies to see through the walls of terrorist hideouts.
The James Bond-style technology could help agents, special forces and police as they snoop on extremists and criminals.
So the Ministry of Defence has launched a competition in the hope it can be created by a real-life version of Q – the 007 boffin immortalised by Desmond Llewelyn and more latterly played by Ben Whishaw.
