Colorado officers, FBI rescued 20 kids, arrested 7 pimps in sex trafficking operation


FBI officials announced that 20 underage victims were recovered and 7 pimps arrested in Colorado and Wyoming as part of a national Operation Cross Country
...He estimated there are 2,000 children being trafficked in Colorado and Wyoming and said each child can be worth $100,000 to a trafficker.
Ravenelle was joined by local prosecutors and law enforcement to announce this year's results. He also recognized "four outstanding local and state prosecutors for their extraordinary efforts fighting child sex trafficking."
For the second year in a row, Denver recovered more victims than any other of the 135 cities involved in the operation, Ravenelle said. In 2014, the operation rescued 18 children and busted 11 pimps and 68 johns in Colorado and Wyoming. Denver's FBI office ranked the highest in the country in rescuing children.
