Germany Now Expects Up To 1.5 Million Migrants In 2015

Refugees and migrants with their children, arrive at the Greek island of Lesbos, after crossing the Aegean sea from Turkey on October 2, 2015.
Germany is reportedly bracing for up to 1.5 million asylum seekers to arrive in the country this year, up from a previous estimate of 800,000 to 1 million.
The Bild daily, Germany's top-selling newspaper, in a report on October 5 cited a classified government forecast.
Many of the hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants who have arrived in Europe have headed to Germany.
"Migratory pressures will increase further. We now expect 7-10,000 illegal border crossings every day in the fourth quarter," Bild cited the report as saying.
