FBI accused of stiffing landlords who helped bust Russian spy

Landlords Constance and Feroze Bacchus, of Riverdale,helped the FBI bust up an alleged Russian spy ring by letting agents wire a tenant’s apartment with recording devices — but now that the feds have made arrests, the government is treating the couple more like cast-offs than patriots, their attorney said.

Unaware he was a suspected spy, the Bacchuses rented their Liebig Avenue house to Evgeny Buryakov in October 2014.

Shortly after Buryakov moved in, the couple was approached by the FBI and agreed to let them plant bugs in the house.
