Air Force awards Boeing $55M anti-jamming contract
Boeing has been awarded a $55 million Air Force contract modification for X-band anti-jamming systems for communications satellites.
Under the contract, Boeing "will provide increased resilience to both unintentional and hostile electronic threats to Wideband Global SATCOM satellites," according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The contract is scheduled to be completed by August 2019. The contract was awarded by the Air Force's Space and Missile Center.
