“Using Technology to Protect from CBRNE Threats”, by Robert Ledoux
“It is very disturbing to learn from a Reuters’ report out of Baghdad that Iraq is searching for highly dangerous radioactive material that was either stolen or went missing last year. Clearly, the last thing the world needs is for this material to find its way to ISIS or another terrorist group that will wield destructive weapons. Protecting cities around the world, especially if this material penetrates a nation’s borders, is a tremendous challenge for our leaders in Washington, as well as other nations. For the private sector, too, security for attendees of large scale events ranging from concerts to soccer matches has become a major concern with the rising CBRNE threats we face today.
