Terror attacks

Terrorists kill at least 26 in Brussels airport, metro attack

A series of explosions rocked Brussels Tuesday morning in response to last week's arrest of Salah Abdeslam, a terrorist behind last year's attacks in Paris. Reports said at least 26 were dead and more than 130 were injured, although the number has been climbing since initial reports of the attacks.
The bombings prompted officials to increase security in the U.S. as well, including a visibly increased police presence at airports and on public transit in New York City, CNBC reported. The Washington metro system said on Twitter that they would step up K9 sweeps and patrols on Tuesday, but stressed that there was "no known, specific or credible threat at this time."
