Why Does Europe Need Another Military Alliance?

In Bratislava, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said that "the European army is not something that is going to happen any time soon." However, she added that the EU will soon take "very concrete measures" when it comes to enhancing European defense.

For Olszewski, an EU army is not something that European leaders should focus on. He described the initiative as an "artificial issue," at least at the moment.
