Killer robots
Killer robots called LAWS- lethal autonomous weapons systems- are being commissioned by the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and will be able to track and kill targets even without being controlled by their human handlers.
Stuart Russell, Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, wrote in Nature, an academic journal, that he believes these robots could violate the Geneva Convention.
