Navy seeks sensor for IR threat classification

The Navy is looking for an infrared detection system that can classify threats.
The fleet has several different thermal imaging devices and sensor systems that can track an IR signature already, but none of them can identify the threat level of the designated target, according to the Small Business Innovation Research solicitation.
