Border Patrol: Drugs flying into the U.S. on drones

Border Patrol officials in Arizona say drug smugglers are starting to use drones to bring drugs into the U.S. from the southern U.S. border.

"The Yuma Sector Border Patrol has recently encountered small remote controlled aircraft, commonly referred to as drones, being used to smuggle drugs into the United States," U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Wednesday.

"The drones vary in size, but are commonly between 2 to 4 feet wide," it said.
