12 steps Congress can take to move data innovation forward

Implementing smart grid technology across the United States can be moved forward, or slowed, due to many factors -- including lawmakers. According to a new report, "Accelerating Data Innovation: A Legislative Agenda for Congress," conducted by the Center for Data Innovation (CDI), there are 12 steps that Congress can take to accelerate the growth of data in public and private sectors.
