MiRTLE targets concealed threat detection at standoff ranges

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), with funding support from the UK Home Office and Metropolitan Police, has developed active millimetre-wave (MMW) radar technology for deployment at critical infrastructure. Handheld and tripod-mounted variants are available of the Millimeter Radar Threat Level Evaluation (MiRTLE) standoff screening system.
