US ready to repeal sanctions on Russia, if Ukraine peace deal implemented

The EU and the US are ready to start repealing sanctions against Russia as soon as a peace deal is fully implemented in eastern Ukraine, John Kerry has said after talks with Vladimir Putin. The US secretary of state was speaking during his first visit to Russia since May 2013 on Tuesday after meeting Mr Putin and Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister, in Sochi on the Black Sea coast.
