Saudi Arabia and Ukraine cement transport aircraft co-development agreement

Ukrainian aerospace group Antonov has signed an agreement with a Saudi Arabian investment group to develop and manufacture a variant of the An-32 light military transport aircraft in the Kingdom.

Antonov said on 12 May that it had concluded the accord with the Taqnia Aeronautics Company, a subsidiary of the state-owned TAQNIA development and investment group, which was established in 2011 to encourage investment and the establishment of joint ventures in high-technology industries in Saudi Arabia.
