Aerial defense
Russia’s new aerial defence
The Russian corporation Rostec reveals a new technology to intercept UAVs, missiles or any other guided electronic attack weapon. The system uses a sort of high-frequency “cannon” that creates an air-exclusion zone of about 10km with radiation, although specifics have not been reported. The exposure to this radiation created by the system interrupts the electronic systems in aerial vehicles in low altitudes, preventing them from hitting the target.
