Defense Ministry Seeking New Concept in Employing Military Strength

The Defense Ministry is seeking to change the future concept of employing military strength.
 
The head of the Defense Ministry’s Military Structure Reform Bureau, Cho Sang-ho, said Friday during a seminar on a blueprint for future defense, that the Joint Chiefs of Staff will present a new concept.
 
Under the new concept, the ministry is seeking to employ military power to allow preemptive strikes against North Korea’s key facilities, if clear signs of a nuclear weapons or missiles attack emerge.
