Obama dismisses Trump claim of 'rigged' election

President Obama on Thursday laughed off Donald Trump’s claim that the November election could be “rigged" against him.
Obama appeared befuddled by the GOP presidential nominee's declaration when asked about it during a press conference at the Pentagon. 
“I don’t even really know where to start on answering this question,” he said. “Of course the elections will not be rigged. What does that mean?” 

U.S. Seeks to Protect Voting System From Cyberattacks

In the wake of hacks that infiltrated Democratic campaign computer systems, Mr. Johnson said he was conducting high-level discussions about “election cybersecurity,” a vastly complex effort given that there are 9,000 jurisdictions in the United States that have a hand in carrying out the balloting, many of them with different ways of collecting, tallying and reporting votes.
